Known the world over for its unique panoramic view of Niagara Falls<\/a> and the surrounding area, the Skylon Tower is a popular tourist destination. On a clear day, one can gaze upon the cities of Toronto, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York. While thousands of people come to feast their eyes on this spectacular view, many also visit our sky-high restaurants to feast their appetites. The Revolving Dining Room<\/a> and the Summit Suite Buffet both offer a view of the Falls alongside delicious appetizers, entr\u00e9es, and desserts.<\/p>\n

Skylon Tower On-Site Bakery<\/h4>\n

All desserts are made fresh in our on-site bakery<\/a>. The Skylon prides itself on serving delectable desserts, such as our signature pecan pie and famous cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e. The pecan pie is served \u00e0<\/em> la mode<\/em> with vanilla ice cream, and the cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e is caramelized to order. But that\u2019s just the beginning! Our dessert menu offers three types of cheesecake: praline with whipping cream and candied pecans, vanilla with strawberry sauce, and chocolate velvet topped with pecan-coconut nougat and drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauces. Baked fresh daily, these creamy cheesecakes are a favourite of all who try them.<\/p>\n

For chocolate lovers, we serve a chocolate Amaretto torte, garnished with toasted almonds. Looking for a more traditional dessert? Our apple pie \u00e0<\/em> la mode<\/em> is individually baked and served with caramel and ice cream. Choose from our selection of coffees and teas to accompany your dessert, including cappuccino and espresso. We also offer decaf coffee and tea, as well as chamomile, so you can wind down and enjoy the view a little longer.<\/p>\n

The Revolving Dining Room does just what it says: it revolves one full turn per hour so you can see the entire Falls landscape as well as the surrounding city from 775 feet above the Falls. The Summit Suite Buffet provides a Fallsview from the same height without revolving, but the selection will be enough to get you \u201cmaking the rounds\u201d through the buffet over and over again. The Summit Suite Buffet offers a similar selection of desserts with freshly baked pies and cakes from our Bakery. The selection is different most days but may include traditional cakes like black forest and strawberry shortcake.<\/p>\n

All of our bread and buns are also baked fresh daily by our in-house bakers, ensuring a favourable dining experience. Your meal also includes free access to our indoor\/outdoor Observation Deck<\/a> where you can view the Falls and surrounding area at your leisure. The Observation Deck is a great place to take photos and really take in the beauty and majesty that Niagara Falls is famous for. Time your reservation right, and you can even view fireworks over the Falls or the nightly illumination.<\/p>\n
