About us

Claretonline.org is the digital handle of CLARET PUBLISHING GROUP (CPG). Publishing is part of the heritage of the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, more popularly known as Claretian Missionaries, founded by St. Anthony Mary Claret in 1849. Claret asked his followers to use all possible means for evangelization according to what is more urgent, timely and effective. In his time, he published about 150 books and pamphlets. We have inherited his charism. Today 3000 plus Claretian Missionaries are serving in 66 countries.

The CPG comprises 16 Claretian publishing houses around the world. Our aim is to enflame all pastoral activities with biblical inspiration and proclaim the Good News of Jesus through print and digital media. Each publishing house answers the needs of the Church in their particular environment building the Christian community. They lead the faithful in ever newer ways, to becoming leavening agents of the Church in the fast changing social fabrics of our times.
