Presentation :

- Read : In this first step, we provide brief ideas that the passage suggests for an attentive, leisurely and contemplative reading of a biblical passage. What does the text say?
- Reflect: We invite the reader to contrast reality and his or her life with these ideas, to reflect and meditate on the meaning that the passage has for everyone. What does the text tell me?
- Pray: We suggest one or two possible ways to start the dialogue with God, this is prayer This is the time when we tell God what the text generates within us. Personalize them to make your prayer unique and personal. What makes me say to God?
- Act: In this final step, we offer concrete actions that, in the light of what is read, reflected and prayed, the reader can do to transform his or her life. It is the fruit of prayer. Here one assumes the resolution that the passage suggests in prayer as “divine will” to transform or improve our life and those of our brothers’ and sisters’. What to do from now on?
Lectio Divina can be done in any place where there is some peace. and at any time when one is more free. it is simple and for everyone. It is ideal to do it in a group to help share the faith, reach community discernment, and work together for the Kingdom of God.
